Tina project managed the Awards for All grant the group gained in 2008-9. See www.wagsgroup.org.uk
This involved checking planning details with Medway council and sorting out insurance. The group produced 3 wonderful, colourful murals in public spaces and lanes in Gillingham. They aimed to make pathways and walkways safer and more cheerful for pedestrians, often mums with pushchairs and those too poor for cars! The response was amazing; the public loved them! The launch party was a celebration of the WAGS group. These ladies need no project managing. They do it all by themselves.
