Dickens 150: Medway Print Festival 2020
Pandemic postponement of this exhibition due to open 5 December 2020. Prints will be exhibited in this delayed exhibition marking the 150th anniversary of the death of Dickens, who was so closely associated with Rochester, Hoo and Medway. #rochesterartgallery

Print medium (ie. etching, linocut): Linocut printed on handmade board; frottage; then hand tinted.

2. A Child’s Dream of a Star

Print medium (ie. etching, linocut): Frottage, overprinted with linocut. The colours were achieved by initially making rubbings of pre-prepared linocuts, then overprinting in black.

3. “The savage distant lair from which the wind was rushing… and that small bundle of shivers growing…”
