Tina Lawlor Mottram worked as the Lead Artist on this project run by St Mark’s Church in Gillingham in 2006. Using Gillingham town crest as a starting motif, volunteers painted their own version of what they thought about Gillingham. Volunteers worked hard using recycled boards, lots of enthusiasm and decorated a very drab area in the town. MP Paul Clark dropped in to help as did many passers-by who were delighted to join in and brighten up the mall.
