Drawing on years of experience as a designer in Collins Publishers, HMSO and The Royal Armouries as well as many years of business experience abroad in teaching and management, Tina enjoys working on community projects in Medway and in Kent. Most recently, Tina is very proud of the first Medway St Patrick’s Day Parade held in Gillingham in 2014.

As a Complementary Therapist at Oakwood school, in south London, Tina works with special needs children on allotments created in 2010, and also in the gardens at Mayplace primary school close by.
Winner of the Bexley Environmental Challenge in 2013, the school is composting kitchen waste, growing food and flowers and helping to protect wildlife by planting bee friendly flowering areas.

A successful fundraiser, Tina has written bids to Awards for All, Community Safety partnerships, the Allan Willett Foundation and the Co-operative Dividend Fund. Projects include Full Circle, The Activity Loft garden and ohters which can be viewed on this site.

Tina is a published writer and author; by Urban Fox Press and the Rainham Poetry Group and “The Tree of Light” – see below. Her editorial experience includes ‘Light’ journal and ‘Sunlight News’. She has also contributed to local Kent news stories as a Correspondent for the Medway Messenger and the Medway News.

Founder of themomentisnow! group and author of “The Tree of Light”. This group works creatively with longterm illness. Funded by Awards for All, this book was highly commended at the Medway Arts & Culture Awards 2010. See The Tree of Light on this site.
