Maya Calendar

Tina Lawlor Mottram studied Nahuatl at Universidad de Complutense, while living in Madrid. These paintings draw inspiration from glyphs from the Maya calendar.

Using the glyphs used by the Mexican Maya in Yucatan, these show months of the Haab year.
